Frequently Asked Questions
How long will your fudge last? Usually about half an hour, but there is usually a best before of around 5-6 weeks.
Why is your best before so short? Thought fudge lasted for ages? Most fudges are made to have a long shelf life. Ours can also last a longer time that we put on label, however, we consider it to be BEST before the date given. It is just at its prime then. Also, we use fresh ingredients and never put any shelf life extending products in ours. No preservatives. Perhaps shooting ourselves in the foot, but there is a reason you come back to our product time and time again, right?
Can I add a note in the package as I am sending it to Aunt Ida? Yes, just write your note in the 'message' box on the checkout screen.
Why do you call it Tablet Fudge? Surely its either tablet or fudge? Well, as we sell this product in England, most folk here are not familiar with the Scottish terminology of the word tablet, so we need to use both words to describe the product.
Is this just like normal fudge? No, it is not. What is considered a normal fudge in England is a softer more yielding (squashy) confection. Tablet is a firm confection, yet is mysteriously melts in the mouth.
